João, so far, my favourite is slightly the fan Tuxedo in my WCS Honeycomb brushes. The Cashmere in my first AP Shave Co brush is also superb, albeit more floppy. I adore both. I'll try today's arrival, tomorrow morning.
My personal best - 30mm AP Shave SynBad on lower loft. Looks and feels as 28mm. Great density, thiner fibers?, silky soft tips, no glue bump, good backbone, no problem with water leakage. After testing everything available on the market (synthetics) for the last 3 years still remaining the undesputed champ and a pleasure to use. Great for face lathering; painting and bowl lathering as well. I also have 28mm of the same knot on standard loft ... but is a differend feel.

High praise, what loft do you choose?

My brush is custom made, loft measures 56-57mm. The "standard" usually is 60mm. Hole dia. is also of importance in order to keep the knot tight and to fully take advantage of the density. Needs to be close to knot dia. (base). Half mm larger?
