Before going in to detail, I should state upfront that I'm an Alpha fanboy.
It's a lovely brush. The handle is slightly larger than a cylindrical Cadbury's Creme Egg in size and has good knurling. The aggressiveness of the knurling isn't quite as grippy as the Bravo Sure Grip handle but still has plenty of grip. Weight wise it's probably similar to the Outlaw - it's lighter than I expected given its size (a good thing). I have the Wickham/Alpha Gothic brush and it's stunning but also weighs a ton. I could fight off an intruder with it should such a response ever be required mid-shave. I like the weight and look of the Gothic brush but appreciate it will be too heavy for some folk. The El Gordo will work for folk that want a large and light(ish) brush - 100g. The knot feels lovely from the initial palm lather I tried.
