Fatip handle recommendation

Which handles for Fatip razors would you say are the grippiest or easiest to grip?

I bought a Fatip Piccolo SE, used it, then put it away a while and now I've started shaving with it again. I'm finding that I'm now gripping the Piccolo handle quite tightly when I get lather on the handle which can leave my fingers a bit numb. Looking for something fatter I guess.

I liked the wooden ones (wenge or zebrano, can't remember which) but they're a bit spendy for a handle I'll only use with the Fatip

Wipe your (wet) finger tips on an alum block to help improve grip on metal handles. However, I find the Grande handles better. They are lighter (hollow) and greater in diameter.

Yeah, that was the default option. Waiting to see if anyone likes the slant handles or maybe there's even a third party with weird threading

I really don't care for the handle that comes with the slants. :-/
It's pretty, but usability is rather lacking for me.
On the other hand, a rubber sleeve would do the trick. It doesn't look very nice, though.

The Grande handle wasn't bad at all. I've been using a Schone variant, which looks slippery, but I haven't really had any issues with it.

For me, the handle that comes with the Fatip Lo Storto OC Slant works well. Never did care for the handle on the Fatip Piccolo OC as I like a handle with a larger diameter. OTH the Piccolo handle was grippy enough. To solve the diameter problem I just found a Gillette Fat Handle Tech and robbed the handle for use on the Fatip. Some of the Fat Tech handles will not thread up tight but this one does and works well.

Yes, the top plate from a Gillette old type OC. I don't have the tool to measure the blade gap, but I think this operation makes the result-Frankenrazor a bit milder than the original Fatip. I'll soon make an outright test of the two heads, then I'll make a picture of these two at a more close...

I found that the Karve handle would actually fit pretty well, except the threading inside the handle is a bit short.
The Henson Al handle works pretty well, though.

Unfortunately the UFO handles are the best I encountered for the Fatip. Unfortunate because they are no longer produced and the used ones are very expensive.

Ooh, interesting. I have a few of those. I was worried about ruining the threads, but might give them a go. I'd definitely prefer to buy an iKon Bulldog if I can

I hate that thread, they are jamming handles on there that have a completely different thread and hoping to get something to "interfere" enough to stay in place. And they act like they are accomplishing something wonderful. Ignorance is bliss I guess. Please don't wedge different threads together, find a better way.

Fatip handles

I tried putting a titanium handle onto my Piccolo just now. It sort of went on, but it felt like the threads weren't quite right. Is there something strange about Fatip handle threads?

This. Unless the handle is properly threaded for a Fatip head it isn’t fitting.

I asked in here a few months ago about a custom handle with an M5 thread, which I still haven't ordered. I don't love my Fatip enough to have a special handle made for it
