No offence taken from any comment in this thread, that would be entirely unjustified. I see where all the comments come from and I can only defend my own actions (listing on fleabay with a start of 99p). The bidders decide the final sale value and that's alright by me in this instance.

You are a very generous member and have pifed me a few things in the past, which is very much appreciate. You deserve that final price mate. If only you had another to relist to help the other bidders disapointment ha.

I meant no offence with my earlier post. If you want to sell kit it is your choice as to where and how much to list it at. As has already been mentioned if a buyer is happy to pay that price then that's their choice. Good luck with the mortgage.

Crikey! The Goliath is the same as mine (don't use, too heavy) and I also have a 100mm Kaiser (don't use, too long).

While I think the prices these things are going for is a bit mad, if the seller's listed them accurately and started the bidding at a reasonable amount it's not their fault if the bids go sky-high, good luck to the seller I say.
