Evening all,

I’m currently in Rovinj having a wander about in this beautiful country. I’ve seen some Pitralon A/S. But that’s about it bar the usual Wilkinson soap in a bowl / canned goo.

Should I be looking out for anything else?

Perhaps Meštar soaps.
However, I'm not sure ordinary stores would carry them.

If you happen to go to Pula or Poreč, find a Spar supermarket, they might have some Meštar products. As for Rovinj itself, there is a Müller store there, and they should have some german brands like Tabac, Speick, Irisch Moos, 4117, Hattric and HCC Tobacco, Mühle and Nom

Then you should find a Konzum convenience store, they have the Ralon after shave and possibly shaving cream, and Afrodita Men after shave. You also may stumble up on Solea after shaves, but that's a maybe.

Afrodita aftershave balm has been purchased. Will see what else I can find. Will also be getting non shaving bits as well.

Sorry, i forgot to give you an answer to this yesterday
It's available in Serbia as well, but i dislike the scent so i never tried it, but those who did, said on a Serbian shave forum that it does the job well for it's price.

Also managed to find some Ralon A/S and Man Max shaving cream.

The Ralon is almost legendary on the teritory of ex-Yugoslavia and very well regarded. Unfortunately not available in Serbia nowadays, otherwise i'd certainly have it in my collection.

Ralon was just under 5 Euros and the shaving cream was around 1 Euro.

I used the Ralon A/S today.

No issues in application, went on nicely. An old barber shop smell, nothing offensive. No huge cooling effect as you’d get with some others. But it is hot here obviously. It feels nice and won’t irritate your skin.

The scent is a hint of medicinal to me. But for the price it’s worth a punt.
