In the late 1970’s or early 80’s I did a product these for Gillette disposable razors. It was their first attempt putting a small soap strip on a single blade disposal. It was great! I shaved once a day for two weeks and the last shave was as good as the first! The soap strip left a slick film on the skin but rinsed off with water. I was very impressed! Couldn’t wait for them to hit the market...a sure winner. About a year later there they were. I bought a pack and guess what? They were nowhere close to what I tested. Blades didn’t last as long and the soap was not even close to what I tried. I was really disappointed. Guess what I tested was too good for the market.
