@TobyC that doesn't work. Everyone knows that the only way to get rid of the boar funk and relax the bristles is to dunk the fibres in a boiling paste of skunk oil and powdered unicorn horn on a full moon in June.

It's just so hard to get powdered unicorn horn these days.

I’ve actually been looking for a 21mm boar knot. The first Muhle synthetic I ever bought is just awful, and I’d love to get it back into circulation. Seems like I used to see 21mm knots pretty regularly, but not anymore. Not sure who makes the good ones.

I recall being in a motivational meeting as a football player and the speaker, a well known professional, said beer tastes like pee or urine. That's all I remember. At that point I had not tasted beer. While I have never drank urine, if it tastes like beer...!!
