Buying a strop in EU with international shipping

I want to buy a beginner strop. Where can I find a good one, not expensive from a shop based in Europe with international shipping?

It is not a beginner but Scruppleworks in Norway has really nice ones. Other than that, you can go on eBay and might find one of those Dovo Prima cowhide ones for around 30-40€. The Scruppleworks are around 120€ shipped.

There are a few reasonable beginners strops on EBay for less than £20.

I've got two suggestions:
1. Search "haryali strop" on ebay
2. Go to amazon.de , set the language to english and search "streichriemen fur rasiermesser" or only"streichriemen".
And scroll through all the results.

Listen to Sammie and go to Torolf at Scrupleworks. He has beginner strops, but my advice would be to buy a nice strop, and Torolf will probably throw in a beginner's strop for no charge if asked. He's a very good and knowledgeable gent. His advice is free and well worth heeding!

I had one of his for my first strop. Did ask what was available but didn't get a reply so had to look elsewhere. Shame really because he does decent strops for the price.

I'm quite new to this game and it my second strop now I've stopped nicking it. The difference between my old and new is quite unbelievable in sound and feel. Maybe it will change with more use.

It will probably change a bit, but not too much. Are you happy with the draw? Strops are very personal... there is no right or wrong... just what we happen to prefer.

I've not used it much as yet but seems quite nice to strop on . No doubt I'll get used to the change. If I'm honest I'm really pleased with it.
