Pumice Pig Mk 2. GDMG black apron 25mm boar in my second attempt at carving a handle from a piece of pumice found on the beach. This was easy to carve but really difficult to carve well - differences in the minerals, small, hard inclusions, air pockets and changing hardness and density of the pumice make it difficult to keep things consistent. Its reallY just a curiosity. Very lightweight brush at about 52g, vs 94g for a similar size acrylic handled brush.

Doesn't the pumice completely saturate with water?
