I was a little underwhelmed when I first opened the box. I was expecting the knot to be bigger, diameter and loft. However, after 6 uses it’s really come into its own. The knot has physically opened up and it splays easily and comfortably while still providing sufficient backbone.
I also thought the jade looked a bit plasticky but I’ve grown to live with that, I think I would only get any future Jade in smaller handles though.
