Broman razor

I've looked at this and have a general interest in pivot SE handles that would allow me to use my DE blades. The principal problem with the Broman, to me, is that they've got the pivot point wrong. Gillette got it right with the Contour, followed by the Sensor and, latterly, the Guard. Wilkinson's Sword had the Profile and Protector handles. It all went wrong with the Mach 3 and its brethren, which I admit to never using - as I always say, it would be like shaving with a spoon.
It's a case of symmetric versus asymmetric.
If Gillette got their fingers out, took a look at the models, above, and put a few pennies in for production (like they did with the Heritage) they might win a few customers back and earn some goodwill

Well .....surprise,surprise....it arrived today. Feels good in the hand. It will be interesting to see how it shaves!

First run out today.....and it shaves very well. No blade feel after the first pass....but an excellent finish. I would buy another one if it was completely metal

Great to hear that you enjoyed using it Brian. I agree with you about purchasing an all metal version if they ever make one.

It's incredibly easy to use Andy......perhaps too easy. My razor of choice when I need a great shave with minimal risk. I find myself being drawn more towards SE and this one will help me nibble away at my stock of DE blades along with my Focus R48. It completely blows the RazoRock Eco out of the water!

Your only hope is that someone puts one on a BST someday. As far as I’m aware they’re not in business anymore, the razor has never been in stock again.

Best solution is either looking at the Leaf or Twig razors, or the OneBlade Core/Hybrid.

excessive price for the razor.

I already ordered the Leaf Thorn... i hope to chose the right one and I hope its not to aggressive. Maybe the Twig would be the better one.
Alternative to a single edge razor would be Razorock Eco.
But the broman would be the wish razor.

Don't worry you ain't missing out on much

Broman is way too mild, leaf is way better

With the broman you have to do a fair few passes even when loaded with a sharp blade like feather which just causes a lot of irritation

If it was more aggressive and efficient it would be brilliant YMMV

It was the first product. Like the Leaf Twig first edition and the Twig Thorn Edition for more aggressive.
So if the company go further his way it could be a Broman 2.0 or Broman the strogman edition.

thought I'd share as they're discontinued and haven't seen one on ebay before

Broman Single Edge Razor. The shave is very mild but you can increase aggression by using a Feather/Nacet/Kai or other sharp blade. Reason for sale is that I have now bought a Twig razor which I prefer.

I hardly ever use it as it's very mild so if you don't like mild shaver honest opinion is avoid it

unfortunately i had no luck. I saw 2 times on Ebay. But the seller dont reply to my question if they send to Germany.
After a few days later it was sold.
