Blackland End of an Era

Just had an email from Blackland that the Era is being discontinued and no more will be produced.

A great shame to hear this as I think it’s a great razor.

They are definitely a slice of history in safety razor design & you know what happens in time to things that go rare . . .
Especially a Blackland.

Seems like history repeats itself. First the dart and now the era. Give it a few years and they will do a limited run of the era again

If we can print them, we will. But printing like this doesn't work for small runs so I don't think it's particularly likely. Certainly open to bringing the Era back if we can find a way to do so that's consistent with the vision we have for it. We won't machine the design.
