Are you serious?? A bic one blade disposable will deliver a closer shave than those top of the line cordless foil shavers that can be used in the shower with foam or gel?? You have got to be kidding me... but how is this possible?? Bic single blade disposables are the most lower end cartridge razors around!!

Yes. Yes. Easily, the electric shaver has a foil between your skin and the cutter, a razor doesn’t. Disposable razors have a few drawbacks but shaving close isn’t one of them.

Believe what you will, but a bare blade on the face is better than a blade that never touches the face.

BIC for the win always. I have used both carts and high-end electric over many decades.

Top-of-the-line electric razors only shine when you have to be somewhere in 5 mins looking better than you do now.

They last 2 years before they die. In that 2 years you will spend another 50% of the original purchase cost on crazy expensive replacement cutters and foils to keep them performing.

Buy the BIC (or similar). Use it gently on a wet, soapy face. Get a Gillette Mach 3 or better if you want a quality cartridge that gives a smooth shave.

Get a cheap battery powered razor to keep in your car / briefcase / desk draw if you need to, for the times that you have no time.

I have one of these for such occasions. They are under £20 in the UK and work as well as any electric razor and the replacement foils are cheap too.

Crazy how a cheap ass bic one blade disposable razor will beat the worlds most expensive foil shavers that are not only self cleaning but also can be used in the shower wigh shave gel!!!! Do you know because of trial and error that you did??
