I've been on a waiting list for a BBS1 for over a year and just heard he has one for me. With all the new boys on the block, we don't hear so much about this razor any more.

Do those that have one still rate it?

It's a rebadged Wolfman razor made for The Los Angeles Shaving Soap Co. and Wolfman razors have a reputation for being very well made razors.

If nothing else, you should be able to recoup your money if it turns out to not be to your liking. (And by recoup, I mean make a profit).

Demand is greater than the current supply. Unless the market changes drastically, that will remain the way it is...

...who can predict what tomorrow will bring?

It's a beauty.

The head arrangement is different to a Wolfman but made by James.

I think I prefer it over a Wolfman.

I have had an e mail too off Jon , should ship next week he say's , no doubt in my mind it is a buy , even after emptying my wallet with Timeless Razors and promising myself a financial sabbatical , LOL

I had one a few years back, but I found it a tad more aggressive than James' regular-gapped razors and ended up selling it.
I still think I prefer James' regular ones. However, I would really enjoy revisiting the BBS-1 to see if this holds true. :)

I am fortunate enough to have both a Wolfman and a BBS-1 - which one do I prefer?

The one I am currently shaving with :D :D :D

They are different, but both great, so enjoy

Mine's out for delivery today, huzzah. Customs charge was £65 so it's costing a total of about £330 which is frankly ridiculous. If I'd realised the total cost, I definitely wouldn't have bothered. Anyway, I'm going to try to forget about the cost and enjoy the shave (and ignore the fact that I could have 10 or more OCMMs for the price and they'd probably shave better).
