I know what you mean, they all seem to me to be a bit too “heavy”. The Cuba when I tried a sample once it had a sort of dog muck smell. But I know we do have some fans on here.

When I wore the Cuba sample and walked around town... A woman commented "what smells of cat piss?" 😅

But yeah, totally agree... All far too heavy. I used to really rate C&S but perhaps my nose is a bit wiser now, having tried much more since and they all smell of very clumsy perfumery to me now. Oxford and Cambridge is still pleasant but it's also the simplest and a total rip off @ rrp.

Same here. I found them all both quite imbalanced and too strong even with the smallest application. Some of them smelled like waste from industrial flora processing, those that had any oudh had too much of it and some of them smelled kind of sweet and effeminate.
At this point, I have tried a good few samples (also thanks to having won a sample raffle over at TSR) and the above is a very common scenario.
There are only maybe 3 or 4 commercially available scents that I like, but I mostly prefer faintly (and simply) scented deodorants.

It's the same thing with soaps for me, so I recently ordered a pile of unscented soaps so I can find out which base I prefer and that I'll probably stick to.

Lucky yes, but I am also very very persistent. If you ever hear of one please let me know. I am building up a substantial collection of psychos. 3 types currently, over 40 razors in different date codes countries and displays. Thanks.
