, Indeed, Jon, my third and final, owned the full set the safety bar, the titanium, and now the open comb, I always rated the razor highly, the titanium was a bit too light for me, and the safety bar was an extremely smooth shaver, so what's left for me it's got to be the open comb.

Two Grand Seikos added as of yesterday:

SBGR309, a yr 2018 model that wears the mechanical automatic movement 9S68 which has 72hrs of power reserve and a -5"/+3" per day spec

and

SBGV205, a light champagne dial quartz-powered 10.4mm '44GS' case thick model that wears the 9F82 movement.

Both were at 40% off and needless to say I pulled the trigger instantly. Brand new from the local AD, with a five year international warranty.

Final price for both, including a 1% cashback redemption from points the AD offers, was €4,529 (or £6,455).
