Hi All.

I'm now back from holiday and what a nightmare it was with the RX Asylum pass around box!

A long story short, Royal Mail royally fu**ed up.Some calls from Spain, a lot of help from James @Acer89 and some finger crossing and I now have the package at home, after my mum made two attempts to collect it from the sorting office.

I'll be re-sending the package this week, hopefully tomorrow and the Shaving Gods willing the pass around will be back on track.

I can only apologise on behalf of our wonderful national postage service for their utter shambles of a "service", I have been involved in four special delivery transactions... three of which have involved the sender being compensated for RMs incompetence :)
Thank you for the update and all your efforts in rectifying the situation

No problems, massive thanks to James as well, he took over phone call duties when I dropped my phone (on the first day of the holiday!) and the screen smashed rendering it unusable...

Hope you had a good holiday:okay:
Apart form my phone and the package, the holiday itself was brilliant, thanks :D

Holiday what holiday?

I can't keep this secret any longer.....Truth is looney went looney so he was locked up for ten days at the asylum .

He's undergone treatment and has now been released back into the community but remains heavily medicated

As you can see below he received the best treatment at a 'state of the art medical facility'

Looney.... hey mate......keep taking the tablets Remember the men in white coats know where you live. :giggle:

Having had my Asylum for some time now I have come to the conclusion that this razor is not for me. It started with 2 or 3 excellent shaves, then started rattling when not loaded, according to Phil (Bullgoose) this is not an issue (despite offering to test and change it and to cover postage), however the shaves became consistently harsh and with a few nicks. How a solid stainless steel razor can become loose within 2 weeks is beyond my understanding. Now I have to concentrate as though I'm using a straight and this wasn't the case on the first few uses. You live and learn.

@Nishy when you say it has come loose, do you mean the handle comes loose or that the handle no longer clamps the two parts of the head tightly so they are loose and that rattles?

The latter Paul, the handle is tightly fitted no give. The head rattles between top cap and bottom and IMO is getting progressively worse. I have put it through an ultrasonic cleaner and checked every part. I have also had PM of other members detailing the same issues (6 in total now). If I'm honest taking a £300 (approx) hit on the chin hurts. Anyway an expensive lesson learnt. Don't have the heart to sell it just to have someone else suffer.
