It's really is a beautiful razor and actually doesn't appear difficult to machine. It will be very interesting to see what other manufacturers can come up with, and at what price point? The difficultly in getting hold of such items as this, puts me off trying straight away. When a company like Timeless can produce a very high-end product off the shelf, I would put my money there first.

Just opened one of these & tried some blades as Rocnels are designed for Feathers only. I couldn't find any Gillettes that would fit but these blades do:
Derby EXTRA / DERBY Premium
Personna Platinum Chrome
Super + Platinum (Crystal, IP’s)
Super-Max, all types.
Treet, all types.
Wilkinson Sword Double Edge (DEU)

Feathers along with the blades listed above have slightly bigger diamond cut outs than other blades. Rocnel machine there razors to match this so some blades do not fit.

It may as well be a limited edition if they are going to alienate some buyers by limiting the blades that will fit. Feathers especially are a very polarizing blade.
