Aluminium Above The Tie

I have read on another forum that ATT has announced an all aluminium line up of razors which are in development currently, they will be much more affordable than the current crop of stainless razors, here's a direct quote from the Stan;

"My goal is to have these available in about two months or less with the price at about half of the cost of our stainless line"

Not entirely sure which of the current razors will be manufactured in aluminium, I would assume it would be the standard 7 piece system for now and most likely the SE and slant variants later down the line... but he has mentioned that the handles will also be in aluminium.

The interesting thing is that he he is looking to make razors in different colours as well as a versions for both male/female with varying aggression levels accordingly.

I would actually be interested in these as i generally prefer a lighter razor, what are your thoughts?

I like the sound a I'm more into use lighter razors as well. Have the said if it's pure DE or if the are going aluminum on their SE1 as well?

These sound interesting would love to see what colours will be on offer and how the lighter razors feel when shaving.
