I got one with the same new platinum fibers but I had to return it, use it twice and it looses to many fibers…hopefully you will not have this issue.
It was beautiful, with Patriot handle, and I really like this new knot.

I used it today-seems to be a lottery.

Chubby 1 platinum was fine.

Duke 3 platinum shed about a dozen on first use.

Chubby 2 platinum was just fine as well.

I’m not too concerned. If the Duke 3 falls apart it falls apart, and I’ll put something else in it. I think they all compare favorably against my 21 and 23mm STF. Less floppy I think. To me they feel more dense, although I should probably try a 25mm STF at some point.

Tough to put my finger on why I like them better, but I do.

New Yaqi's Final Cut OC arrived 2 days ago. The older model is to the rear in the photo.
Shaved with it twice so far. It is nothing like the old model. The shave is excellent, and I would recommend it for anyone looking for an efficient and smooth shave.

A Stahly Live Blade Model S-6 in excellent working condition, showing minimal signs of use.

A King Oscillator in excellent condition. Although the cardboard box is missing, but comes with 9 new blades (with a tenth one already installed in the razor).

Maggard G5 knot arrived last night.

Did the re-reset of my first Muhle brush handle this morning-a Vivo in horn resin. Had planned to order a STF knot but didn’t see any in 20mm.

Was better prepped this time around.

I also tried out Flitz polish for the first time. There was a point very early when I could have stopped, to preserve the logo, but it said “black fibre” anyway so I went ahead and polished it out.
