I have bought both full brush and knot from Vig and indeed pleased. Do note though, that the Silvertip 22 I bought just barely could be squeezed into a 24 socket. Could be a one off due to excessive use of glue in that particular one of course.

Have you lathered up the Mike's yet? really fancy this soap but being a natural tightwad I'm reluctant to import from the US with the associated postage costs.
Just had a good luck at the brush, no markings at all so I've no idea!

Still in shipping. I just bit the bullet and ordered from Maggard's. I have one B&M already but I really need to try the other two for curiosity. Catie's is often touted as one of the best so I need to see what it's like compared to the best I've used.

The Brut is everything I hoped it would be ...
Billed as spicy, green and slightly citrus with a musky backing, definitely one for the older fellow, I bought blind in the hope it would be akin to those lovely '70s Citrus Musks. It is! It's not massively citrus, but then they weren't back than. Think Jade East with less alcohol. Great!
The '66' is good. It just wanted a polish. The new blade slid in okay, slipping over the far "retaining" lug, but pushed back, held and the key removed it secured in place fine.

A collection of samples from James @ Shavedash, including SMN and all three Nuavia scents. As regards the latter: quite something smelly wise, I'll give them that. All three bring associations to other soaps I have tried, though, albeit perhaps a tad more complex. Worth the cost?
