I finally received a package of Wickham 1912 soap samples: Irish Fern, Club Cola, and R. Leather. The scents are wonderful. I have 10 different soaps from different manufacturers, but none of them have such unusual, non-soapy scents. I can practically smell the carbonated bubbles in Club Cola—I love it. I hope the shave with this soap will be great too!
I also couldn't resist the $4 price tag and added the Gillette TechMatic to my collection of unusual razors.

I picked up this 2nd generation Gillette Aristocrat Junior for an absolute steal this week.

The Razor is in great condition, mechanically perfect and doesn't really seem like it'd been used as the usual vintage razor soak and cleaning didn't really throw out any of the usual gunk.
I'll most likely give it a whirl for tomorrows shave.
