I haven’t been on such a buying spree in years. This just arrived from Will Carius. I’ve been buying direct from him since 2014, and we’ve maintained an ongoing periodic email how do you do (imo, Will is a real gentleman and an iconic figure our niche hobby). I recently felt like splurging on some new aftershaves for the spring and summer. Here’s my first olfactory reaction… Nordost is righteous - as expected. Waves was simply meh - I was hoping for something more like Oceana - I should just buy a bottle of Oceana when/if it’s produced again. That said, I’m sure I am likely an outlier, and most people will probably like Waves more than I do. Figarose will be fun getting to know, and I’m looking forward to the experience. And there’s still other stuff headed my way. Psyched!
