I don't use straights which is a shame because you really can't capture this kind of beauty in a DE/SE.

I didn't say I could use the thing! I've only had 8 straight shaves so I better hope I continue to improve so I can truly admire its beauty and ability... I'll try and use it tonight hopefully though!

You are right by the way, the scales on a straight and the shape of the blade/point etc can be truly beautiful. I've seen a number of straight razors I've drooled over... I don't get the same feeling for normal DE and SE razors!

That took just over 2 hrs. It's a slow process ! Thinking of getting another printer, the one I have uses chipped filament refills. If I get one that runs on none chipped filament I can use wood and metal particle filament. I can then also access a wider colour range no at cheaper prices. The last two reels of filament just don't seem that great, I've had quite a few print problems with them too.

It is an easy to use printer, almost out of the box use.

Downsides are your stuck with their filament, the bed is not heated which means that you really need to use pritt stick on the tape that sticks to the bed. The pritt dries and needs scraping off, messy and a pain.

Now if your willing and able to put one together yourself this is a rated kit. Comes with all the tools and easily followed videos and instructions. You can use a bigger range of filament and it does have a heated bed. You may though get caught for import duty as it's direct from China. May well be what I get next.

Either though use stl files which are easily no widely available to download no print. Loads and loads of spinners !!!!

Here are two more March aquisitions. Hopefully, my acute RAD peaked during the month and I'll soon recover.

Gillette Slim Adjustable and FaTip Gold "Festina Gentile" (Gentle Head) Razors. The Slim was a good find for $32. As for the FaTip, it provides a very close shave but blade alignment is an issue--a question of loose tolerances, I think.
