July had been a crazy month
Duke 3 and Rover are my favorites handle shapes. And this faux ebony is just fantastic.
The vintage mini Tulip and custom Rover are filled with Manchurian hair from Simpson, handles provided by me.
Knots are respectively 16 and 25mm diameter.

Good man! I find the scent does last a bit longer that a lot of aftershaves as well! Have worn it for work before without any other scent and could smell it for a good while!Cheers Chris. I'll be splashing it all over tomorrow.

I recently sampled Venetian Bergamot, & absolutely loved it, but it didn't last longer than two hours on my skin. What are you getting in terms of longevity @Nishy?Tom Ford Private Collection EDP:

Not much in the grand scheme of things as over the last two days I've had delivered the Oneblade Core and Rockwell 6S but I have purchased 4 fragrance samples of Tom Ford Oud wood, Tobacco Oud, Soliel Blanc and one of Creed Himalaya. They'll do me for me holiday to Tenerife in Nov. Easy to pack and a good way to get quality holiday fragrance for not a lot.
Hiya, I put it on this morning around 9 and just got back from a from a full day's outing in around 30 Celsius. I currently smell like a goat nothing left of the fragrance. I too absolutely love the smell and am going to apply it before dinner again in about half an hour so will let you know how it goes. To be honest I was tempted by both TF London and Patchouli absolute but if you combine the too it is a poor version of Amouage Epic MAN. TF London is too faecal on opening and that does last for a good hour.
Anyway back to the point, I will figure out this evening if I wasted a ton plus. However, it is a gorgeous scent and it's hard for me to find such a 'light' scent that I enjoy.
Edit: I should add I layered the TF VB with TF Violet Orchid and TOBS no.74

Yep it's definitely a dirty, dark, mysterious almost dangerous tone. According to the sales rep it is the darkest TF scent profile.

3 hours later and a shower. It is still present on my person. Strangely it projects off my skin but not off my clothes. Bergamot still present, it is fantastic but stays very close to the skin, it doesn't project like any other TF fragrance. Apart from the first hour when you get wafts of bergamot and citrus. What is also quite unique is how the bergamot was largely apparent on opening, faded to a milky vanilla with lemon, then came back, marrying the almost creamy tone and citrus together. The citrus is not a Boss (orange scent) or TdH (burnt orange peel) or cool aqua cologne profile. It is crisp fresh and clean (not clean linen). Adding to this I also get tones of freshly photocopied paper/opening of a new book.
I love the fact that it's subtle yet complex. It really is understated compared to other TF fragrances. For those darker tones I would always pick Amouage. I find this house to be more defined and less mossy. Saying this Noir de Noir (as you praised earlier) is pure class and Black Orchid is superb. I also really liked Oud Minerale.
