A quick update. I used the Fougère V2 this morning and the scent on the face during lathering was definitely more pronounced. I'd say 5 out of 10 in intensity. Not as strong as the V1 soap, but, nevertheless, quite prominent. From the tin, it still smells weak. Interestingly, the scents, to my nose are different. The V1 is not your typical Fougère scent and whereas I would normally use Proraso splash with a Fougère scent, I typically use Floïd Blue AS with the V1 soap. I took the Floïd to the bathroom this morning, but had to change to the Proaso after lathering the V2. I agree with Avnish that this soap has a greener coniferous scent. I was intending to finish the V1 before switching to the V2, however, there is sufficient difference (to my nose) to warrant using both formulations in rotation. This is clearly down to a change of supplier that Manuel has had to go for.

Bottle of Brut Attractive Totale ... this "fragrance boasts fougére top notes with lemon, lime & mandarin, and rounds off with galbanum & blackcurrant for a fruity finish." ... Yep! It's green and spritzy with a fruity backwash, yet reassuringly masculine, reassuringly Brut.

I have no idea why I've suddenly decided I must own all the Gillette 'Indian' DE's maybe a mild form of RAD.
I believe there is a Gillette rubie I must find, plus I want the 7 o'clock green with the actual green razor. No idea if there is anymore though.
