It looks better than it feels TBH. The blade looks nice. I'll find out the weekend if it's shave ready.
The scales look and feel very cheap. If I like the razor I'll look at changing the scales.

Using a straight is bucket list item for me. I've seen some highly attractive straight razors feature here but wouldn't have a clue regarding performance. As the old saying goes. " I only know what I like once I like it"

I just received some vintage shaving soaps and creams, which I mainly bought for the Cussons soaps. I'll PIF some of the other items that I'll never use, such as the brushless cream.

I got the exactly the same! The ebay seller had 5 lots of these.

Not sure about using the cream but the soaps all look fine considering their age.

Two things arrived:

1) Sixty Wilkinson DE blades for $5, and

2) A vintage Cooper DE razor.
Mechanically in great condition and should clean up rather well.
Looking forward to trying it out.

I saw your note about buying it, and I had seen your picture last fall of some. I'm not really familiar with the soap.

Outstanding customer service from Mark as always. This CH2 Manchurian in sapphire was only ordered mid afternoon, yesterday and I thought it had missed the post. Shocked to see it arrive, today.

No, I was obliquley referring to the listing I had on ebay for it, I decided I needed to thin out and thought you might be interested, I've just sold it though.
