Following the earlier post by @bandito (thanks again by the way) I got two samples directly from Fitjar - they're generously offering a sample for the price of postage only, I checked and the offer is still, and I also received a sample of their After shave gel - thanks @FitjarIslands!

Just arrived ANOTHER brush!

Custom Olivewood with badger knot. The knot looks like it loose LOTS of hairs. But it surprisingly soft with a decent feeling backbone.
Turning/workmanship is nice, no noticeable turning marks and communication with Jon/Melissa is superb.

That handle is gorgeous! Wow, look at the woodgrain!

Yeah, the handle is stunning. The knot however is pants and has already been removed.

A sort of recent acquisition:
I've had the 404 for sometime but while I can understand why it gets recommended frequently it's not for me. I've had the 24mm Tuxedo knot since about September. Removing the knot proved challenging - steaming for 60 minutes had zero affect so it was drilled out and then just last week I had someone at work put it in a lathe and turn the opening to 26mm. I've hand-sanded it to a gentle chamfer so it's now 27mm. The knot is set to 54mm. I've only used it once but I'm very pleased with it. It'll become my travel brush I think.
