I've been looking for something nicer than a TV tray to hone with while sitting in my comfy chair. Last weekend I looked through IKEA and found a couple of goodies. This table works fantastic. It's high enough and the legs pull under the chair without hitting my legs. I also picked up this plastic tote to hold my honing gear.

Few things purchased y'day locally.
The good news first:
The cinnamon in the LPL Barbershop soap smells lovely, the Myrsol Blue is full powdery in scent, the DRH Sandalwood puck is very light and perfectly summery for being sandalwood, and the jasmine-scented Myrsol after shave is pure joy for the coming warmer months....
The bad news is that we shall be forced to continue to watch the "attrition war specialist" Mark Selby at the Crucible.

Not shave related but I've just upgraded to the iphone 7. The camera is supposed to be outstanding for a phone so let's see if it lives up to the hype? I've been happy with the iphone 6 it just works. Yeah it isn't as flexible as Android and ringtones have got better but still a pain to add, overall though they just do everything really well. I managed to get a 15% discount so it's cost me less than my last plan too.

Is that the actual brush James or the EBay listing photo? The knot looks superb in terms of uniformity of shape.

Just this week I got a very old tube of Old Spice cream, I squeezed it out and added to it one of my (very, very good) vintage Gibbs Sport sticks, grated into an original Old Spice bowl. I'm just waiting for it to harden up a bit more. It smells amazing though.
