Hits:

- Atelier Durdan N° 7 plate 7
- Blackland Blackbird
- Zingari Man Il Signore
- Extrò Cosmesi Tuberosa
- Gentleman’s Nod Tusitala, Damascus N1
- L’occitane Cade and Baux postshave balm
- PAA Peregrino brush

Misses:

- Murphy & McNeil Abbey - I had 2 pucks from a few (one-two) years ago … they refuse to produce any lather
- Extrò Cosmesi Terra degli Dei - the soap just went liquid on me after a week of use …
- Ariana & Evans Cathedral - is just a talc soap scent for me … that was disappointing
- Dorco ST300: OK blade but its edge is lost on me after 2-3 days

Razor hits:
- TGS Syntesi SS, especially for the price
- Tatara Amakuni, so unique in it‘s features
- The expensive swiss razor…but it had to be great or it was going back

Razor misses:
Sorry to say, but I could not get on with the AD No. 7. I had the 0.5, 0.7 and 0.9 and couldn‘t get consistently comfortable shaves from any of them

Brush hits:
- Simpson 2-band silvertip Chubby 2. IMO the best hair for flow through
- got a Wiborg used at a nice price. It really is a great brush
- nothing unexpected but got me another Wald A1 in 2024

Brush misses:
Semogue alchemy 1 synthetic. Just one use told me the brush had excellent mechanics but the tips were just too scratchy for my skin

Software hits:
- Westman Halo base
- Lainess
- Eufros LE spanish shavers

Software misses:
Perhaps a bit unfair to mention as my skin just doesn‘t get on with these.

- TOOBS
- Klar

Hits:
Ethos Grooming Essentials Shaving Soaps and Aftershave Splashes, for me the best scents and the best performance
Finally found the best razors for me: The General V2, Haircut&Shave Ti Efficient, Rocnel Sailor MC, Tatara Amakuni

Misses:
Rex Konsul and Rex Ambassador, got no smooth and comfortable shave with both of them,
Shield AC1, for me not very different to Blackland Vector
