Strop problem

The only way of telling if the diamond emulsion is at fault is you must first start with a razor fully honed with a clean edge and no visible scratches, then a clean strop coat the strop then strop the razor and if your razor has scratches or not there's your answer.

That's a good idea, that's why i will reset the bevel on my sacrificial razor and start from there, and clean and re-coat all my canvas strops before heading to them.
Btw. I've edited my previous post, i'd very much appreciate yours and everyone else's opinions...
