Pre shave: Hot shower and Neutrogena glycerin soap bar.
Razor: 1966 Gillette Slim Adjustable (7).
Blade: Feather (7).
Brush: Yaqi Sigrada Familia 24mm synthetic.
Soap: Noble Otter neon sun.
Post shave: Noble Otter neon sun aftershave splash.

A great sherbety shave today with neon sun and my trusty Slim Adjustable.

The performance of this soap continues to impress with it's excellent glide, thick cushioning lather and heady scent.

The blade gave one last snooth shave right up until the final couple of strokes on the third pass, on par with my usual average usage from a Feather blade, so off it went into the blade bank.

Finished off with neon sun splash, which doesn't give so much of a burn as a tingle which quickly fades away to a great soothing sensation.
I don't know what they're doing differently with their splashes over at Noble Otter, but whatever it is, they're doing it right.

Have a great shave and an equally great Friday, everyone!

Friday Shave...

Two days growth to cut through and fancied using the Bayonetta. This is a fairly efficient razor to say the least so I paired it with a Treet Platinum #4 and it worked very well. I've started mostly shaving with the grain now and then picking up leftover key areas as needed and I'm finding that I have far fewer issues. Less is definitely more and I've stopped chasing a supremely clean shave. I feel much happier as a result.

This Saponificio Bignoli Antica Ricetta - or ricotta as my phone wants to call it - is a wonderful soap but I've noticed that they have left Connaught which is a shame. Hopefully, they will return. This brush is still not quite where I want it yet but I'm going to keep plugging away until it's all set. The mystery of the boar is yet to be solved!

Have a good rest and a lovely weekend wherever you are...
