Gem 1912 Brooklyn

I really got lucky with this one and an Ever Ready of the same era a few years ago. A lady was trying to sell off the stock of an old general store that had been in her family for generations. It was listed as NOS. It is missing a blade from one of the banks, but everything else it there.

Some literature that was in the box with it.

Now if I can find a decent Damaskeene…..I’d be thrilled! I saw one on eBay and was about to pull the trigger, the bar looked bent, shame. The hunt continues.

I wonder what she had for hand saws and hand planes, push drills, egg beater drills, miter boxes...

Many treasures to be had.

Treasure trove indeed. I believe a majority of the items were sold off pretty quick.
