Essential oils, where do you buy from?

So I'm wanting to acquire some essential oils or blends I can add to my unaccented soaps and creams to create my own smelly lather.

Have any of you purchased from any company you can recommend, been stung from the bay and Amazon with watered down and fake perfumed base oils. So I'm looking for somewhere I can trust.

@Nishy's your man for that. I've bought from local independent chemists and healthy living shops. Can't remember the brands off-hand though.

I've got all my stuff from Naissance on Amazon. Always been pleased.

I buy half a dozen types of oil...Olive, Coconut, Grapeseed, Argan etc then mix whatever Essential Oils takes my fancy. Usually add some crushed menthol crystals and a couple other bits and bobs too.

I'd like to know the answer to that too. Whatever Nishy put in the pre shave preparations I bought from him...I want some!

The three bottles (Melissa, Spice Market and Citrus Bay) each contain potions that I'd love to identify so I can add them to my current mixes. But I think I recall Nishy saying he'd like to keep them a bit "hush, hush" in case he ever wants to produce them commercially. So it might be I'll have to buy one of each of their entire stock

Some are definitely better than others, I found a few too weak or not the type of profile that would suit a wearable scent. For example the vetiver on its own IMO is far to dirty and gritty (not expecting high end at the price point) so needs to be rounded off.

I used a bit of your gear this morning, Nishkins - as I do virtually every day. Just a couple of drops. It's always a bit sticky if used on it's own as an after shave balm but, as you've said before, if mixed with some oil or something else it loses it's stickiness...and there's always that gorgeous smell. I really am hooked on it.

Hoping to use it through the Christmas period. Not tested it out on myself as of yet but due to the lack of availability of certain ingredients, in particular the manuka honey concentrate (as well as cost) makes this virtually impossible on a commercial level. Fear not I am procuring ingredients to make up some more of my other pre shave balm.
