The eBay bots have struck again and removed my remaining razor listings under their knives policy 🫤

I didn't even use the word razor or blades in the listing

Interesting that bots can hunt out a knife but they can’t find harmful content for teenagers

I had the thing happen to me last week as I had a picture of an unopened pack of 5 free blades with the razor.

AI image scanning. Ebay has been rolling out improved AI services for sellers. I would guess they use the same AI for finding duplicate listings and any that contravene their rules.

Advertise them as folding beard removers.

You can advertise straight razors/cut-throat razors with no problem.

After connecting to a bot and asking "talk to a human". I got through to one so I could raise the issue of listening being removed due to the system misidentifying items as dangerous.

Hopefully this will alert the system writers that it doesn't work correctly and get my listings reinstated.

It might not change anything but if no one says anything, they don't know there's a problem.

One of three of my eBay listings was reinstated.

Not sure if it was worth the bother but at least they know the system that scans for rule breakers isn't perfect.
