Cold water shave

Well tonight was my first ever cold water shave .............
And I'm impressed so much that I think I will be trying it again.
Just as close a shave as warm water and my skin feels revitalised
A bit of witch hazel then some myrsol and great balls of fire , my skin feels alive

Interesting old article on prep suggesting maybe using warm water first pass and then for second and third passes cold water if you have sensitive skin

Or I am guessing using cold water for initial prep maybe also works just takes longer to soften whiskers compared to using warm water.

Personally I tend to use tepid water (fancy for lukewarm).

Yup, been cold water shaving for a few years now. No prep, just splash face with cold water and lather up. Not for everyone though.

I switched to cold wate only shaves as I used to suffer with sensitive skin / razor inflamation etc ..... since switching nothing but great close shaves with zero skin issues
