Gilette is moving most of it's manufacturing unit to India. Even though I am from India, I am yet to get my hands on a India made Astra SP to test and check if there is any difference between the russian made one vs the indian made one!

Auchan supermarket already selling only China blue gilette.
A friend also bought some astra green online in Europe and it was labeled made in India.
So ends the "made in St. Petersburg" era.

I tend to discount any experts who have blatant errors in their analysis. Voskhod, and Rapira blades are Moscow blades and have nothing to do with PPI or Proctor & Gamble.
I think the PPI blades we all knew will no longer be available, but what their replacements will be like is too big an unknown to do anything but guess at.
