AV after shave pour hack

Love my AV after shaves but always found they poured out too quickly. Switched the flip open cap from my Thayers witch hazel to one of my AV bottles. The AV bottle pours more slowly so you can better control the amount you want.

Old Spice is no better in this regard. Once it reaches around half empty mark, especially with bigger bottles then all the air gushing around just makes the splash rush out like water from a gargoyle. Very soon one learns to put the physics of capillary action to good use with help of forefinger acting as volume reducing valve.
But with AV it is still a bit of work. Wish I find something like that red cap but so far no joy with AV.
