I am confused too. Seems like dried tobacco vs fresh flower or leaf. I love both. But the latter completely predominate so wondering if you can get a pipe tobacco type scent?
That's a different story. PAA Cavendish is desribed as a pipe tobacco scented soap but i haven't tried it, and P&B Spitfire has a nice combo scent of dried tobacco and leather. Not tge pipe type though.

WestMan Utopia has a lovely pipe tobacco scent.

The ASW/WSP Old Virginia smells like what my nosebrain remembers as a freshly opened pack of Marlboros. Tbh, it’s probably closing in on twenty years since I’ve opened a package of Marlboros, but I’m pretty sure that’s the scent. Further, and fwiw, to my mind the Old Virginia soap smells nothing like the WSP Tobacco cream. Re: Tabac, I have a puck of the tallow version waiting to be opened. Must remember to break it out one of these days.
Mmmmmm Marlboro- still remember it even if it hasn’t happened since Feb 21, 2001.

Zingari Man The Rambler
Brilliant Tobacco Scented Soap

Under the foot of a man strolling through the countryside, earth rolls into hills like waves in every direction. The grass and trees are colored by a fiery sunset, with patches left cool by the gentle cover of cream-colored clouds. The breeze, still warm from the afternoon sun, carries the last of the day’s brightness, ushering in the evening’s depth. The man, with an unlit cigar between his lips, continues walking. He breathes satisfaction, contentedness. In this scent, you’ll find notes of tobacco, smoky vanilla, and red fruits, which combine to create a sense of soothing completeness like that felt by the man who finds peace in evening walks through the countryside: The Rambler.

Top: strawberry, raspberry, peppercorn, currant, anise

Heart: tobacco, hay, plum, rose, amyris, vanilla

Base: tobacco, coumarin, vanilla, tonka, red fruits

Good for you, keeping the streak going! I don’t recall the exact date but for me it’s 2005-ish. I’m finally free of my nicotine addiction. It was years before the urge to light a cigarette went away.

My chewing tobacco addiction ended in 1995. I prayed and was healed. No withdrawal symptoms. I cannot begin to explain. So, I went from two pouches to none.

Not to hijack, but I started smoking at 15 years old in 1964. I had gotten up to two packs a day. I tried to cut down many times, only to end up smoking more than I did before! In winter of 1978, I had the flu, and trying to shovel out 2 feet of snow from a blizzard. I recall trying to smoke, and it tasting terrible. I threw the cigarettes away, and never lit up another. The first month or so was very hard, and I was not a pleasant person to be around... but, it passed. With two fairly young children in the house, we all benefitted.
Oddly enough, all these years later, sometimes in a dream, I still light up???

Back to topic... I've had the Original Tabac, and been underwhelmed. I'm still on self imposed soap buying moratorium, but @JamieM has a soap that has captured my jaded interest..

Getting off pretty badly @smoking
After smoking for 35 years and many attempts to quit that were spectacularly unsuccessful I had to take help of Champix / Canticx. Half way through I was down to about 10 a day from 23 a day and Champix was withdrawn worldwide during pandemic. So am almost back to 15+

Back to topic. Both my tabac edc and soap in pre 2009 days reeked strong of tobacco. New lot soap not so much. Edc specially went downhill after 2014. Thankfully I scarfed a vintage 300 ml on the Bay, last year.

I like the Razorock Puros tobacco soap and splash. My favourite EDP is (was) Aramis Tobacco Reserve, but the silly so-and-so's have stopped producing that.

Well, you might call me bias but you won't go far wrong with one of our Spitfires :D. Gloriously smokey and layered with tobacco, leather, juniper and cedarwood.

Enjoy!

Kerry.

Spitfire definitely plays with tobacco scent but I do feel the Juniper and leather plays out the tobacco. But that doesn't stop it being one of my favorite soap in winters.
