That's why I only have Chinese "homages" Lee.. not because I'm cheap or anything...Cyclops on subs? Sounds like a science fiction film!
You do get other technical advantages of the sea dweller when compared to the sub: helium escape valve and greater depth rating in addition to the absence of the cyclops. I like the cyclops on a date just, but for some reason not on subs.
I guess I just like the utilitarian look of subs.

Very good point [emoji854]You do get more watch with the SD ....While >300m water resistance and HEV are nice no one actually needs them.
You may want to check the serial number to see if it's a Red Sea Dweller. Sometimes when these watches were refurbished the original dial with the red printing was swapped for one without the red printing. The Red Sea Dweller for some reason is more valuable, although the watches are the same. Just a thought.Rolex 16600 Seamaster. By a long way my most expensive watch.

I fancy the Steinhart Ocean Vintage Military. I’m not sure how I feel about homages in general but the OVM is a homage to the milsub and they’re unobtainium.Possible the most copied watch design around..today another Parnis Submarine in more obvious "homage" mode.
Normally I wear it on a leather Zulu or Nato.
