Would you send this Razor back?

OK, I had the same issue and I just let it be....... then the plastic dial on the bottom got broken (totally my doing and fault) and I went ahead and ordered a "MERGRESS" from Bull Goose Shaving. But simply, it is an overbuilt and tuned Progress that is bomb-proof and will last a lifetime. And it was PERFECT when it showed up. Here is the link:

They will be getting more in stock soon. Mine really is a top notch razor and I use it a lot (i.E. "it is in the rotation").

I also have, and love, one. However, they also come with Merkur's quality so if the donor razor has a flaw it won't be fixed and my standards were higher than Bullgoose's. In fairness though he did exchange the part (top cap) but I had to pay the return postage. Just don't expect Bullgoose to do Merkur's quality checking.

In my opinion these sub-standard razors should be sent back to Merkur until they up their game.
