This one was in a pretty sorry state but has cleaned up well. I’d estimate a manufacturing date mid to 3rd quarter 19th century based on design and lack of country of origin. The scales appear to be original buffalo horn with a Mother of Pearl insert.
The razor wasn’t closing properly - turned out that the horn scales were fractured and beyond repair, so new ones were made from some lined Ebony I had available.
