What did they say exactly?I asked them about this and got a fluffy answer that didn't tell me anything. I repeated my question and pointedly asked if it was in fact boar hair ... to again, get a fluffy answer. I would have bought it if it was boar.
I totally agree with you Chris. I'm really tempted to also raise a complaint with trading standards and possible the Health and Safely Exec over false claims of product origin and materials.I wouldn't buy it on the basis that they appear to be dishonest, I can see no legitimate reason to be cagey over what sort of hair it is.

At that price it's a steal.Having looked more closely at the picures it certainly does look like a boar bristle knot, rather than white horse hair.
Anyway, in an unrelated issue...I am selling a few of my "White Badger" brushes on the BST..because of the unique hair, that has a "Boarlike" appearance, this hair is highly prized so I'm thinking say..£500 ? Any takers?
