Which Brass Razor? Karve, Blackbird or Timeless

In your opinion, what makes a razor "premium"?
For me, first and foremost, materials and quality of finish. Then design determines where along the range it sits. Track record sometimes plays into it, though there are always some razors / razor makers that appear suddenly and seem to naturally fit at the mid-to-high end, like Carbon Shaving, H&S and (by reputation since I joined the hobby too late) Raw Shaving.

So ATT historically has a track record of great quality and metals, but by not innovating and newer entrants coming to market, the design is now comparatively blah, so for me, I categorize their razors as lower end of premium. Same thing with the Charcoal Goods Everyday Razor, though I'd place the older offerings at the mid-to-higher end.
