What Are Your Favourite Internet Radio Stations?

I love radio particularly FM radio, but lately I have been scanning the world tuning-in via internet radio apps. I have previously used TuneIn and several others but did not like the interface, recently I discovered a new internet radio app "Radio Garden" http://www.radio.garden/visit/london/0eZoYyEW. What a clean, useful app. It shows a spinning earth with a dizzying amount of radio stations marked on each country. It works very well, so much so that I have purchased a bluetooth box to plug into my 1980's Hi-Fi so that I can stream internet radio direct from my phone or laptop to my Hi-Fi. I went for IFI's Zen Blue high resolution wireless streamer; I fear I maybe embracing digital! Lately, a few internet radio stations I have been enjoying are:

FIP (based in Paris, mostly Jazz)
NTS (based in London eclectic mix)

And many independent radio stations out of Algeria...just wonderful and very atmospheric, a real find...

What are your favourite internet radio stations?' any brilliants finds?

I prefer to listen to specific music, since I'm a musician and my head is already bursting with music. But I also follow leads and research stuff.

I make playlists in YouTube. Very useful for listening back to stuff I find and like.

FIP has many more specialised stations now: rock, reggae, world, groove, etc. Plus a few local stations (Strasbourg, Bordeaux, Nantes, etc).

It's a very popular FM radio (the basic Fip) in office work environment, almost no talking, no commercials and rather calm music.

Besides, there is a British fanbase : https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/FIP_(radio_station)#UK_pirate_relays

I like radio Paradise. Has its own app and I can stream it via chrome audio to my stereo
Yup, me too.
Has a range of four channels and can play a choice of quality including FLAC quality.
Just discovered there is an app for your phone.
Also that you can download the content into cache....(or something, but it means you can listen offline in the van :) )

I have the app N.I. FM, which carries just about every FM station in the British Isles. Currently I have the following stations bookmarked:
BBC World Service
BBC Radio Guernsey
BBC Radio Solent
Heart ( Hampshire)
Island FM (Guernsey)
Smooth Radio Scotland
Yorkshire Coast Radio Bridlington
Isle of Wight Radio

i also have the app Vintage Radio, which carries vintage radio shows.

I've recently cancelled my Amazon music subscription, and I'm listening 100% to SoundCloud. It's absolutely ace.

Good wiki article - thank you. I also find myself enjoying TSF Jazz from Paris. This great article from the UK's Telegraph newspaper https://www.telegraph.co.uk/radio/what-to-listen-to/the-best-internet-radio-stations/ mentions FIP and SOMA. I am working my way through the internet stations that they highlight, some of them are absolutely superb and fans of Jazz and Classical are well served. I have yet to find a down tempo internet radio station that I like though.
