Here's Horace Parlan, another of Mingus' pianists. I had the great honour to do a tour of Scandinavia on bass with Horace, and he was a lovely, lovely guy. Because of polio he had the use of only 2 fingers on his R hand, and he adapted his style to suit this, with magical chords.
You will recognise the tune as the slow movement from Dvorak's New World symphony.
