Good luck buddy.@Wayne thanks for posting this. For the last 3 years I've felt a little like I need to lose a couple of kilos, but it's never been enough to trouble me - more like a 'wouldn't it be nice' but this winter with lockdown it's become a problem and your post made me realise I can't just cut back a little on portion size or drinking or indulgent snacking. For me it all or nothing so as from yesterday it's black coffee / tea and water every working day until 18:00ish and then I'll eat my evening meal and a few drinks and at the weekends I'll eat breakfast and dinner and drink.
Hopefully I'll lose the 7kg I want to and it'll give me the chance to go for a quick 15 min walk at lunchtime.
