I have a slivertip badger in a wooden handle i'd like to move to a nother handle, but i would like to keep the wooden handle as well. Any tips on how to remove the knot from the hande without damage to either?

Pull and prey it'll get out. Steaming it out is an option but can damage both knot and handle.

Does it have a ring between the knot and handle? Even if it doesn't, grab the hair in one hand and the handle in the other, pull and rock side to side. If it doesn't let go, you're gonna have to decide which part you want the most and kill the other.
