Preshave:
Hot water rinse
Brush: Yaqi White Knight 24mm Synthetic
Razor: Gillette Rocket Flare Tip
Blade: Gillette Nacet (18)
Soap/Cream: Floris No89
Aftershave Balm: Harvard Vetiver
Aftershave: M&S Woodspice

Playing catch-up recovering from a virus picked up from our grandson, now the lovely little germbag's at nursery. Thankfully not Covid. Brought out the Nivea cream yesterday for some quick, easy lather and wasn't disappointed with a fine BBS, 9/10 finish.

Today's Floris No89 was a treat, quality soap which delivered in spades. I'm left feeling almost human again with another BBS 9/10.

Happy shaves.

Regards,
Chris

Shaves don't get better than this, for me. The DG B14 knot is just superb. This is my fourth use and absolutely no regrets with the purchase.
The Omnibus soap base is my #1 now. Beats even K2e, IMO, with all metrics superb. And, this scent is divine.

Sotd 24th of march 2022,

Cold water.
Rasozero Agrumella preshave.
TDS Lime/grass, bowl whipped with a Yaqi Heavy metal 22mm.
An inherited Gilette tech was used, with a Euromax platinum. The blade was fresh, and works ok-ish in this razor, in other razors it is utterly horrible. Two passes and bade buffing.
Cold water.
Cella extra extra bio aftershave balm.

The Preshave is a wonderfull way of getting more, -albiet redundant-, slippyness onto your face, and plays a nice symphony with the limey scent of the soap.

I like the way the de razor shaves, even with a shitty blade.

An outstanding balm to conclude the otherwise routinal shave.

I agree, David. Tried the omnibus first time with my Passiflora set, and it’s outstanding.

That brush looks gorgeous 😍

Razor: Alpha Shaving Works The Bandit
Blade: Feather Hi-Stainless , 2nd use
Brush: ZENITH Unbleached bristle chrome handle 2000 C XSE
Bowl: Captains Choice Copper Lather Bowl Standard Bowl
Preshave: PAA Cube Unscented Soap
Soap: Tabac Original Puck
Aftershave: Tabac Original Cologne
Balm: L’Oréal All In 1 Moisturising Cream Balm
Additional Care: Osma Laboratoires Alum Block

Third shave in and as has become a quick habit no issues and a super, close and smooth shave, just enough blade feel but mild enough not to have to have a break in shaving the following day. The feather was arguably better on the second use and hence I managed a very good DFS which was BBS in most places in two passes. I decided to reluctantly leave it there as I want to try and use the open comb tomorrow, but I’m unsure I’ll have enough growth to get a good shave if I went for a full three passes.
For a weighty razor it’s very nimble and I wonder if they medium to thin, thick head is the reason for this? All I know is I have a new razor on my wish list to save for!

Razor: Blackland Era L4 SB
Blade: NOS Wilkinson 'New' (3)
Soap: Gentlemen's Groom Room - Berry Fields O'Blair
Brush: Yaqi 'Horsehair' - 24mm synthetic

I'm still plugging away trying the Era with a wide range of blades and it hasn't let me down yet. Good solid DFS in 2 passes plus touch-ups. Job done
