    Razor: 1941 Gillette Ranger Tech
    Blade: Rapira Swedish SuperSteel (D6)
Brush: Zen Shave Crossbones 24mm Romera Manchurian
    Bowl: Creek Road Pottery 5½”
    Pre-Shave Scrub: MRGO Lime
Pre-Shave Oil: Homemade Bay Rum w Lime
Shave Soap: Pyrate's Cove Bay Rum
    Post: Monster Block Alum
    Aftershave: Ogallala Bay Rum

Back in 2013, Pyrate Cove was my first venture into Artisan market, primaraly due to the low price point ($3-4 with free shipping) and did not disappoint. A melt and pour which is very slick unlike other melt and pours on the market and heavy on the scents. I went with 3 Bay Rums; regular, BR with Lime and Bay Rum with Ginger with BR with Ginger being my favorite of the bunch and now down to less than five shaves at best with the regular Bay Rum.

When I saw a razor in a supermarket in France, I was curious and wanted to try it. At that price, it could be a good entry point. In addition, seeing a normal safety razor next to all the cartridge stuff seems a bit of a turning point. The razor looks decent enough, it's a TTO-model. The handle is a bit longer than what I normally like.
Relatively mild, but at the times the corners of the blade can be felt. Can be used e.g. on holidays, but not something I would immediately recommend for newcomers

The blade definitely needs adjustment, balance is awful, but what a smooth and effective little razor!

Having shaved only about fifteen hours ago I was contemplating which mild razor to use, then it occurred to me that I'd never used the Gibbs on setting one.
    Good call.
    Happy Shaving one and all.

I acquired a Fatip razor earlier this week and am absolutely delighted to have discovered that it is a Fatip Grande. as the handle is slightly 'beefier'. I already have a Piccolo V1 so the new addition allows me to experiment with different combinations. I think I prefer the 'chunkier' Grande version. Same great shave as the Piccolo with better ergonomics for me.

3 passes for a shave which would be very very difficult to improve on:)
